OFF THE TOURIST TRACK - FOR THE TRUE ADVENTURER

This is the last unspoiled wilderness, remote, raw, wild - stunning vistas of terra cotta dunes against a cobalt blue sky. Kalahari lions, cheetahs hunting, various smaller predators, the famous meerkats, gemsbok and springbok etc. Amazing bird life. For the wildlife connoisseur... a must! No elephant, rhino or buffalo here, but a huge and fascinating collection of creatures you won't find anywhere else. Surely the best cats in any park.

This world famous park now combined with Botswana's Gemsbok Park is called the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park and is one of the largest parks in the world. Situated +-1000kms from Johannesburg and Cape Town, and bordering Namibia and Botswana. En route to the park, marvel at the vast spaces and solitude, the endless rolling farms and huge sociable weaver nests.

This is the home of the Nama people, descendants of the famous original hunter/gatherer people, the San. You may be lucky enough to encounter some of these fascinating gazelle-like people who still cling to their traditional ways.

Whilst in the park, we start very early, before dawn, and after a few hours intensive game viewing, we return to camp for brunch and a cool rest or swim until our afternoon drive which will continue till dusk. Of course, we can stay out all day if you wish. Dinner bed and breakfast and as many game drives as you desire included.
