South Africa's world-famous Kruger National Park is one of the world's largest national parks; a vast expanse of wilderness some 20 000 sq km (the size of Israel, Wales or Maryland). It contains areas of extreme bio-diversity and is home to a fascinating collection of 147 different species of mammals, at least 502 species of birds and 114 reptile species. In addition to the "Big 5" (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhino), you will find a host of highly entertaining animals including giraffe, hippo, crocodiles, zebras, impalas and some marvelously colourful birds – the list is endless; you can never say that you've seen it all. The Kruger National Park is situated +- 500km NE of Johannesburg, a fascinating 5.5 hour drive during which time we pass our goldfields, then the endless grainlands and cattle farms, coal fields, forests and plantations of banana, mango and orange. This is Africa! This is home to the Shangaan and Ndebele people.
All tours can include the scenic Panoramic Route with spectacular views, waterfalls, God's Window, Blyde River Canyon.

Whilst in the Kruger National Park, we usually rise very early before dawn, and set off in search of the animals and birds. After a few hours intensive game/nature viewing, we have a hearty breakfast and then resume game/nature viewing for the rest of the day with a break for lunch at one of the camps and return to our camp at dusk. All prices quoted include your accommodation, bed and breakfast and as much PERSONAL game/nature driving with Joy (a fully qualified guide) as you want in her SUV and/or game/nature drives in the open National Park vehicles. But most of our clients seem to prefer the luxury and exclusivity of game/nature driving with Joy, especially the professional photographers.
